Camping at Sare: welcome to the Basque Country
Welcome to Camping La Petite Rhune, a warm, family-run campsite in the Basque Country, nestled at the foot of the famous Rhune mountain. Since 1962, three generations have welcomed you to a place steeped in history, between sea and mountains, where tranquillity reigns supreme. Created by the grandfather, the site at the time had 56 pitches classified as “aire naturelle”. Over the years, the campsite has developed its accommodation, playground and swimming pool to become a 3-star campsite.
Just a few minutes’ walk from the village square along a charming medieval lane, our small campsite in Sare combines tree-lined pitches, a heated swimming pool, comfortable accommodation and a friendly , human-scale atmosphere. Here, you’ll enjoy an exceptional location for exploring the riches of the Basque Country, without sacrificing the peace and quiet of an unspoilt natural environment.
